Besides   fulfilling  the  above   qualifications,    candidates         should    have   cleared  the  eligibility   test   (NET)    for        lecturers   conducted   by  the UGC,  CSIR   or   similar   test        accredited  by  the UGC. However, the  candidates  having  Ph.D.        degree  in the concerned subject are exempted NET for  PG  level        and UG level teaching.                                               NOTE:        1. A  relaxation of 5% may be provided from 55% to 50%   of  the           marks at the Master's level for the SC/ST category.        2. A  relaxation of 5% may be provided from 55% to  50%  of  the           marks  to  the  Ph.D. degree holders who  have  passed  their           Master's degree prior to 19th September, 1991.        3. B in the 7 point scale with letter grade O, A, B, C,  D, E  &           F  shall  be  regarded as equivalent  of  55%  wherever   the           grading system is followed.        4. A  relaxation of the minimum marks at the PG level  from  55%            to  50% for appointment as Lecturer may be provided   to  the            candidates   who   have   cleared   the   JRF     examination           conducted  by UGC/CSIR only, prior to 1989, when the  minimum           marks required to appear for JRF exam. were 50%.        Note:  Candidate  for the Post of Lecturer  in  Education  (Home        Science)  should possess M.Ed. with postgraduate degree in  Home        Science.          Desirable  : for the post of Lecturer in Persian,  Institute  of        Persian Research.        1. Three years research experience after Ph.D.       2. Sound  knowledge of Indo-Iranian Socio  culutural  literacy,           commercial relations past and present.       3. Knoweldge of contempoarary Iran and Modern Persian.       4. History as one of the subjects at Undergraduate level.       5. Some experience of Interdisciplinary Research with Persian  as           the source language.       6. Some  expererience of using Persian language and  literature           as a source of information for Indian History and Culture. Lecturer in Shia Theology, Dept of Shia Theology (2)        QUALIFICATIONS - ESSENTIAL :          (a)  A Doctor's degree in Shia Theology or Research work of an               equally high standard and                (b)  Good  academic record with First or high second class  (B               in the seven point scale) Master's degree in the relevant               subject (Shia Theology) or Fazil of any well reputed Shia               Madarsa   with  adequate  knowledge  of  English  or   an               equivalent degree of a foreign University.  104.  Lecturer   in  Journalism,  Department  of  Journalism  &   Mass        Communication. (1)        QUALIFICATIONS - ESSENTIAL :        "Good  academic record with at least 55% (or an  equivalent        grade)   at   Master's  degree  level  or   an   equivalent        qualification     from     an     Indian     or     foreign        University/recognized  Institution in  communication  /Mass        communication/Journalism. Candidates besides fulfilling the        above  qualification, should have cleared  the  eligibility        test  for  lecturer  candidates  by  UGC  or  similar  test        accredited by the UGC. Applications are invited for several postdoctoral research positions in
biostatistics and bioinformatics to work in the development of statistical
methods for large cohort studies, family data and high-throughput omics data
analysis. The positions are initially funded for 2 years, with possible

discipline, and have strong interest in medical and biological problems.

*Post : Head Procurement & Supply Chain Management - CRD/2567*
*Location :* Pune
*Qualification :* BE (Mechanical / Production/Industrial)
*Experience :* Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience.
*Job Description :*

- Direct procurement & supply chain management activities between newly
formed business units at company WHQ and associates located around the
world.
- Business units include but not limited to Driveline, Metal Formed
Products Division and Commercial Vehicle Group.
- Direct and coordinate supplier spend and budgeted savings for plants /
region based of approximately $100 Million USD.
- Develop policy and practice to identify and qualify new suppliers for
company.
- Develop and implement systems to maintain supplier qualifications.
- Develop and implement policy regarding quality standards for
procurement of commodities, materials and services to include delivery and
cost issues; ensure that suppliers adhere to established standards.
- Establish relationships with key suppliers and work with them to
achieve company quality standards and maintain improvements on a continuous
basis.
- Establish supplier performance metrics and ensure adherence by
suppliers.
- Responsible for audit of supplier quality standards by conducting
periodic technical reviews, etc. Identify problems with suppliers and
resolve.
- Establish process and develop training to improve supplier quality,
delivery, technology and cost performance.
- Establish programs to enhance supplier performance such as supplier
recognition programs.

- Knowledge of corporate supplier strategies
- Negotiation skills
- Budgeting skills
- Operational planning skills
- Knowledge of audit standards
