1st Global Halal Exhibition , Pakistan SANHA in its more than a decade long service to the community of Southern Africa, constantly promotes the availability and accessibility of Halaal foods and services. Cognizant of the fact that the consumption of Halaal is a religious requirement subscribed to by a fifth of mankind and transcends national boundaries, SANHA has endeavoured to build bridges between suppliers and consumers through institutions committed to this ideal. Therefore it has joined hands with the Halal Development Project of Pakistan and welcomes the hosting of the 1st Global Halaal Expo(GHE) in Karachi in February 2010 as a unique platform to tap the 400 million plus Halaal market that the region serves. SANHA has already established a presence in Pakistan and is among the founding supporters of this Global event. With incentives offered by the Government of Pakistan for buyers and exhibitors to the GHE, let the coming year be a new beginning for our entrepreneurs in the spirit of the advice from the Noble Quran "Let there be amongst you traffic and trade by mutual goodwill..." | Salmaan al-Faarisii radiyallahu 'anhu narrated: I read in the Tawraah that the blessings of food lie in washing after eating. I spoke to Rasulullaah sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam and mentioned to him what I had read in the Tawraah. He responded, "The blessings of food lie in washing before and washing after eating." Comment: The Ulama have explained that the blessings of washing before eating means an increase in food and satisfaction from hunger. The blessings of washing after eating mean the benefits and intentions of eating are fulfilled i.e. it becomes part of the body, creates energy and stamina, assists in strengthening one to perform acts of worship and to possess good manners. | Ash-Shamaail lit-Tirmizii, Chapter on the ablution of Rasulullah sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam. | | BACK

It's therapeutic, so pass it on: Who do we talk to? Read the outcome when one member of a group of four psychiatrists attending a seminar asked his colleagues, "People are always coming to us with their guilt and fears, but we have no one that we can go to when we have problems." The others agreed. Then one said, "Since we are all professionals, why don't we take some time right now to hear each other out?" The other three agreed. The first then confessed, "I have an uncontrollable desire to kill my patients." The second psychiatrist said, "I love expensive things and so I find ways to cheat my patients out of their money whenever I can so I can buy the things I want." The third followed with, "I'm involved with selling drugs and often get my patients to sell them for me." The fourth psychiatrist then confessed, "I know I'm not supposed to, but no matter how hard I try, I can't keep a secret..." | BACK | | NONE | | BACK | | Who's who in the world of Halaal Name: Moulana Mohammed Ilyas Cassim Marital Status: Married Education: Graduated Darul Uloom Zakariyya 2007 Other Interests: Sports, Teaching Services: Teaching Position: Inspector Gauteng office Key Responsibility at SANHA : Inspections Message: If you sweat more in the time of peace you will bleed less in the time of war Ahmed Deedat | BACK
