All it takes is a simple change in your mind and in your attitude

Posted by: "AsianWoman" i_asianwoman@yahoo.com   i_asianwoman

Thu Jul 16, 2009 9:49 am (PDT)

Here's a simple, yet powerful way to immediately make your life more rewarding.

Move away from the things that drain you and move toward those things that empower and fulfill you.

Begin to take notice, as you go through the day, of which is which.

When you take the time to look, it's easy to distinguish the things that lift you up from the things that bring you down.

Consider, for example, resentment, something you've probably learned to experience whenever you feel you've been wronged.

When you think about it, there is really no positive purpose that resentment ever serves.

You can easily choose to let go of resentment, and to put forgiveness in its place.

That will immediately raise your own level of positive energy, and the beneficial effects will extend deeply into the world around you.

All it takes is a simple change in your mind and in your attitude.

Look for them, and you'll find many other similar ways to replace the things that drain you with more positive things that move you forward.

Many of the influences that bring you down are things you can easily change, for they are based on your thoughts, attitudes and reactions.

Learn to be aware of them, and choose to set yourself free to soar.

[Bruno Borat Discute O Oriente Médio - Vídeo]

Posted by: "DaniloN" wyvvern@uol.com.br   wyvvern2005

Thu Jul 16, 2009 9:56 am (PDT)

"Pão pita (árabe) é o verdadeiro inimigo da paz", diz
Bruno, o alterego de Borat.
O esperado filme do comediante Sasha Baron Cohen "Bruno"
<http://www.cinemenu.com.br/filmes/bruno-2009/sobre-o-filme>
debater a Paz no Oriente Médio.
<http://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hamas> ? Quero dizer, seria o
Hamas e hummus <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hummus> , (homus
<http://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homus> ) a pastinha de grão de
bico tão conhecida ).

Borat alter-ego: Pita is the real enemy of peace
<http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/spages/998691.html>
Comedian Sascha Baron Cohen's highly-anticipated new film comes
out this weekend and "Bruno" has been traveling the world to
generate a buzz for the movie.
One of "Bruno's" stops for the movie was a visit to Jerusalem,
where the provocatively dressed actor was chased through the city
streets by outraged Orthodox Jews.
As Israeli political analyst Yossi Alpher wrote one year ago this
month,
<http://washingtonbureau.typepad.com/jerusalem/2008/07/borats-alt\
er-eg.html
> "Bruno" came to debate peace and had some unique
ideas.
"Vy don't you Jews and Arabs settle the conflict with a
time-share on the land?" Bruno asked the former Mossad official
<http://washingtonbureau.typepad.com/jerusalem/2008/07/borats-alt\
er-eg.html
> . "Ven vill you Jews return the pyramids? Vy can't
Jews and Hindus get along?"
In an attempt to demonstrate his political acumen for the
complexities of the conflict, Borat asked Alpher and Ghassan
Khatib, his co-creator of the Bitter Lemons political Web site:
<http://www.bitterlemons.org/> "Why are you so anti-Hamas? I
mean, isn't pita bread the real enemy?"

Some pearls from Cohen by his hip-hop persona Ali G., during a
visit to the UN in New York and an enterview with former
Secretary General Boutros-Boutros Gali.

entrevistas no... Alabama. :-)

France honours India in Bastille Day parade

PARIS (AFP) - A proud detachment of Indian troops on Tuesday led
thousands of French comrades down the Champs Elysees in Paris for the
annual military parade to mark the Bastille Day national holiday.

The
400 soldiers filed down the elegant venue under the eyes of Prime
Minister Manmohan Singh, invited by President Nicolas Sarkozy to mark
France's strategic relationship with the world's biggest democracy.

Dressed
in ceremonial uniforms of red and black headdress, cummerbunds and
white putees and gloves, the Indians marched from the Arc de Triomphe
to the presidential stand at the end of the 1.5-kilometre (one mile)
parade.

Drawn from the army, navy and the air force, the
contingent paraded to the sound of Indian martial music played by a
90-member band in a ceremony shown live by all Indian television news
channels.

In Pakistan, a food street is a street that is
devoted specifically to eating out. They are lined with food stalls,
restaurants, and other food shops, and are typically pedestrianized.[
1] Food streets, and food parks, exist in several metropolitan cities
in the country, and attending them has become a social norm, with
people using them as both formal and informal meeting areas.[ 2][ 3]
The first food street in Pakistan was Food Street, Gawalmandi in
Lahore.[ 1] This has been followed by Melody Food Street and the food
street in Blue Area in Islamabad,[ 4][ 3] Burns Road in Karachi,[ 5][
6] the food street near Ghantar Ghar in Peshawar,[ 7] and a second food
street in Lahore at Anarkali.

The
Food Street of Lahore was a project undertaken by the municipal
authorities to bring the best in taste to a single location. Selecting
the historically popular place for food, the authorities provided
incentives and funds to renovate the whole street.

The facade of many buildings redone, painted and properly lighted, food
street is a sight to behold. The buildings date from the pre-partition
days and are definitely part of the architectural heritage.

Food Street Lahore at Night

After
the sunset this street turned into food street, here all leading food
vendors have their stalls or shops of Lahore's famous spicy and
delicious food .

A man with the ability to
leap back and forth though time attempts to help a childhood friend
solve her sister's murder, in the process breaking his own golden rule
and creating an evil that didn't exist previously. Sam uses his gift to
help solve the crimes that leave detectives cold. Though it pains him to
know that he can never intervene directly during his leaps, he knows
that the consequences could be terrible if he does. Approached by his
old friend Elizabeth to help track down her sister's murderer, Sam
obliges. But this time things are different, and Sam's inner demons
force him to break the one rule that he has always upheld. Upon
returning from his leap, Sam discovers that his slip up has given birth
to a maniacal serial killer that would never have existed otherwise.
Now, as the death toll continues to rise, it's up to Sam to dive back
into the past and uncover the killer's identity before any more lives
are lost

Choti si galat fahmi
Kar de gi judaa hum ko
Hallat na badleen ge
Maloom na tha hum ko
Rishtoon ki humeen itni
Pahchaan na thi pahle
Kahne ko marasem to
Apne the bohot gahre
Ashkoon k sewa lekin
Kuch bhi na mila hum ko
Uthte huwe qadmon main
Zangeer si par jati
Ahsaas nadamat se
Dahleez pe gar jati
Ek bar mohabbat se
Dete jo sada hum ko

Nigaheen mila kar badal jane wale
Sunaye the jo tu ne joothe fasane
Main ashkoon main sare jahan ko baha doon
Magar muj ko rone ki addat naheen hay!!!!

Quite interesting!
Keep Walking.....

Jus to check this out......
The Organs of your body have their sensory touches at the bottom of your foot, if you massage these points you will find relief from aches and pains as you can see the heart is on the left foot.

Typically they are shown as points and arrows to show which organ it connects to.

It is indeed correct since the nerves connected to these organs terminate here.

This is covered in great details in Acupressure studies or textbooks.

God created our body so well that he thought of even this. He made us walk so that we will always be pressing these pressure points and thus keeping these organs activated at all times.

So, keep walking...

... DRINK WATER IN EMPTY STOMACH
It is popular in Japan today to drink water immediately after waking up every morning. Furthermore, scientific tests have proven  its value. We publish below a description of use of water for our readers. For old and serious diseases as well as modern illnesses the water treatment had been found successful by a Japanese medical society as a 100% cure for the following diseases:
Headache, body ache, heart system, arthritis, fast heart beat, epilepsy, excess fatness, bronchitis asthma, TB, meningitis, kidney and urine diseases, vomiting, gastritis, diarrhea, piles, diabetes, constipation, all eye diseases, womb, cancer and menstrual disorders, ear nose and throat diseases.

METHOD OF TREATMENT

1. As you wake up in the morning before brushing teeth, drink 4 x 160ml glasses of water .....interesting

2. Brush and clean the mouth but do not eat or drink anything for 45 minutes

3. After 45 minutes you may eat and drink as normal.

4. After 15 minutes of breakfast, lunch and dinner do not eat or drink anything for 2 hours

5. Those who are old or sick and are unable to drink 4 glasses of water at the beginning may commence by taking little water and gradually increase it to 4 glasses per day.

6. The above method of treatment will cure diseases of the sick and others can enjoy a healthy life.

The following list gives the number of days of treatment required to cure/control/reduce main diseases:

1. High Blood Pressure - 30 days

2. Gastric - 10 days

3. Diabetes - 30 days

4. Constipation - 10 days

5. Cancer - 180 days

6. TB - 90 days

7. Arthritis patients should follow the above treatment only for 3 days in the 1st week, and from 2nd week onwards - daily.

This treatment method has no side effects, however at the commencement of treatment you may have to urinate a few times.

It is better if we continue this and make this procedure as a routine work in our life.

Drink Water and Stay healthy and Active.

This makes sense .. The Chinese and Japanese drink hot tea with their meals ..not cold water. Maybe it is time we adopt their drinking habit while eating!!! Nothing to lose, everything to gain...

For those who like to drink cold water, this article is applicable to you.
It is nice to have a cup of cold drink after a meal. However, the cold water will solidify the oily stuff that you have just consumed. It will slow down the digestion.
Once this 'sludge' reacts with the acid, it will break down and be absorbed by the intestine faster than the solid food. It will line the intestine. Very soon, this will turn into fats and lead to cancer. It is best to drink warm soup or warm water after a meal.

A serious note about heart attacks: Women should know that not every heart attack symptom is going to be the left arm hurting.
Be aware of intense pain in the jaw line.

You may never have the first chest pain during the course of a heart attack.

Nausea and intense sweating are also common symptoms! .

60% of people who have a heart attack while they are asleep do not wake up.

Pain in the jaw can wake you from a sound sleep. Let's be careful and be aware. The more we know, the better chance we could survive...

A cardiologist says if everyone who gets this mail sends it to everyone they know, you can be sure that we'll save at least one life.

**Please be a true friend and send this article to all your friends you care about......I care for you and just did it!!! :) **
