SRINAGAR: A day after Hurriyat hawk Syed Ali Shah Geelani spurned home
minister P Chidambaram's dialogue offer, moderate separatist Mirwaiz
Umar Farooq on Sunday followed suit, saying the talks will have no
meaning because the Union government is "lacking in sincerity".
Geelani, meanwhile, asked New Delhi to fulfil the promise of giving
Kashmiris the right to self-determination. "Pandit Nehru promised
Kashmiris the chance to decide their fate in 1948, but never fulfilled
the promise," he said. "Nehru showed the sky but snatched the ground
beneath our feet." He asked people to observe Pakistan's foundation
day as "a day of solidarity" on August 14 and called for observing
August 15 as a "black day".
The 37-year-old Mirwaiz said he had proposed specific measures like
demilitarisation, revocation of repressive laws and release of
political prisoners to build trust to take the dialogue process
forward and provide much-needed relief to the people. "But,
unfortunately, these demands were not heeded," he said.
This showed New Delhi's lack of sincerity, the Mirwaiz said, which in
turn has discredited the institution of talks. "In less than two
months, around 50 people, mostly children and teenagers, have been
killed and all forms of repression are in place," he said, and added,
"Where's the scope for engagement when a virtual reign of terror has
been let loose on the people demanding their basic rights?"
Geelani and the Mirwaiz haven't, in the past, agreed on engagement
with the Centre, and the hardline octogenarian Geelani even broke away
from Hurriyat when the Mirwaiz-led separatists held two rounds of
talks with the BJP-led NDA government, which first brought the
separatists to the negotiating table in January and June 2003.
The UPA government picked up the threads and held separate talks with
the Hurriyat, JKLF leader Yasin Malik and People's Conference chief
Sajjad Lone in late 2005 and early 2006. A "quiet dialogue" between
the Mirwaiz and the Centre broke abruptly after Hurriyat leader Fazlul-
haq Qureshi was critically injured in an attack in Srinagar earlier
this year. Qureshi was seen as a facilitator of the engagement and had
earlier brokered talks with Hizbul Mujahideen.
The Mirwaiz said India and Pakistan were clear on their terms of
engagement with the Hurriyat. "(They were) based on two principles:
All parties recognised Kashmir as a dispute and displayed willingness
to resolve it (and) that dialogue was a way forward to the issue's
final settlement in accordance with the people's wishes and also
taking into account the positions of India and Pakistan," the Mirwaiz
said.
Meanwhile, Geelani met a delegation of Srinagar-based Kashmiri
Pandits, who complained of harassment, and assured them safety.
"Geelani became emotional and told us that we're a part of Kashmir and
our safety is the majority's community's primary duty," Srinagar-based
Kashmiri Pandit Sangharsh Samiti leader Sanjay Tickoo told TOI.
"Geelani told us that if anything happens to us, it would be like a
wound inflicted on his body," added Tickoo.

(Ma'an) -- The Israeli army confirmed Sunday that a naval vessel
opened fire at a Lebanese fishing boat over the weekend, Israeli media
reported.
An army statement said no damage or injury was caused, Israeli daily
Haaretz reported.
On Saturday, the Lebanese army issued a statement saying an Israeli
gunboat “fired several bursts toward Lebanese territorial waters†off
Lebanon’s southern coast at 4a.m., NOW Lebanon reported.
The incident follows recent increased tensions along the border
following clashes on Tuesday in the border village of Aadeisha, during which one
Israeli soldier, two Lebanese soldiers and a journalist were killed.
The clashes, the fiercest since the second Lebanon war in 2006, were
reportedly ignited when Israeli forces attempted to uproot a tree to
install surveillance equipment.
At the time, a Lebanese army spokesperson said the Israeli force was
attempting to uproot a tree on the Lebanese side, while the Israeli
army said it was on Israeli territory.

Today I have posted pages 44-45 to pages 54-55 of the thrilling book from Janab
Asrar Alam. Janab Asrar Alam is a contempory of famous Dr. Hamidullah and was in
correspondence with him. Dr Hamidullah was a great scholar who discovered many
original letters of holy prophet (SAW)to different kings in various Libraries of
Europe and has also credit of finding Sahifa of Munabba Bin Hammam, which is the
earliest collection of Ahadis from the days of Nabi Karim SAW. As the Gospels
were written 90~100 years after Christ, they were propagating the ahadis were
not authentic and were written 200-300 years after prophet SAW. But Dr.
Hamidullah bunked this false propaganda by producing the said Sahifa. He also
translated Holy Quran in to French which resulted in conversion of over 10,000
French men and women to Islam.

Alaikum Wa`Rahmatullahi Wa`Barkatuh!
Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri (Radi Allah Anhu) reported:
The Messenger of Allah ((Sall'Allahu alaihi wasallam)) said,
"Every slave of Allah who observes Saum (fasting)
for one day for the sake of ALLAH, Subhanahu wa ta'ala,,
Allah will draw his face farther from Hell-fire
to the extent of a distance to be covered in seventy years.''
[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].
Commentary:
"Every slave of Allah'' includes men, women, the free and the unfree,
because they are slaves of Allah. The Hadith highlights the excellence
of fasting for the sake of Allah-Jallah jalala hu, which will serve,
on the Day of Resurrection, as shield against Hell-fire.

I like to walk in rain because nobody can see my tears
Kal fursat na mili to kya karo ge,
Itni mohlat na mili to kya karo ge,
Roz kehte ho kal padhunga namaz,
Kal agar saans na rahi to kya karo ge…
Rasam se sunnat achi,
Neend se namaz achi,
Gunah se neki achi,
Bazar se masjid achi
Fazool baton se Quran ki tilawat achi,
Gheebat se Zikar acha,
Music sunne se Quran acha,
Delete se forward acha..
Namaz jo hum par farz kar di gayi hai.....
Fajar....bister main
Zohar..naukri main
Asar.....chaye main
Maghrib...rastey main
Esha.......tv main
Jumma.... sonay main
Eid.....bazaaron main
Akele namaaz se Jamaat ke Namaaz Afzal,aur mere nabi ke mahboob bhi….
Na Durood, Na Quran,Na fikr-e-Akhirat Yeh Kaisa Hai (Musalman) ?
Phir kahtay ho q nahin hai Allah hum par meharban to Namaz parhao is say pahlay k tumhari Namaz parhi jayee.....

Phir Gila karta hai ke kyun aata hai yeh toufan,sailaab…
kyun aati hai yeh tangi aur rizk ke kami….. ???
